What can you do in Jimmy Boof besides kayaking?

Players can also get out of the kayak to walk the riverbank, throw a rescue rope to save swimmers or drifting boats, take depth-of-field photos in photo mode, record cinematic replay videos of their runs, and complete a set of timed challenges including races, a slalom, wave-surf endurance runs, and a rescue mission.

Does Jimmy Boof have a tutorial for beginners?

Yes. An optional guided Tutorial Mode walks first-time players through every paddle stroke and on-foot mechanic before they play on their own.

Information We Collect

Email address: Only if you voluntarily sign up for our newsletter, or if you purchase the optional Platinum boat design (handled by Stripe, see below).

Usage & analytics data: We use Google Analytics, Simple Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the game is played and to fix bugs. This can include approximate location (from IP address), device/browser type, and on-page behavior such as clicks and mouse movement. None of this is used to identify you personally.

Game progress: Your gear, medals, and settings are stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) and are never sent to us.

Payment information: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

How We Use It

To operate and improve the game, to send newsletter updates to players who opted in, and to respond to support requests.

Third-Party Services

Stripe (payment processing), Kit/ConvertKit (email newsletter), Google Analytics, Simple Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity (site analytics). Each operates under its own privacy policy in addition to this one.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information is only shared with the third-party services listed above, solely to operate the features they power.

Children's Privacy

Jimmy Boof is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can clear your locally-stored game data at any time from Settings → Game Data → Reset. To request deletion of any data we hold about you, email us below.
